The subject of identity\, individuality and the phenomenon of young people and their subcultures fascinate him. This interest has led to the many series—SkinsModsTeds\, Character Thieves\, J_Subs and Imaginary Club. Over the past few years exhibitions of his work have been held at\, among others\, the Folkwang Museum Essen\, Photomuseum Braunsch- weig\, the Photographers Gallery London\, the Photographische Sammlung SK/Stiftung Kultur in Cologne\, the National Museum of Photography in Copenhagen\, Festival de Mode & de Photog- raphie in Hyères\, National Gallery of Kosovo\, Fotomuseum Winterthur\, Fondation d’entreprise Hermès Bern\, Museum Kunspalast Düsseldorf\, Caso Osaka and Mocp Chicago.\nSieber runs an independent publishing project “Boehm- kobayashi” together with Katja Stuke where they have published a number of their own books. The latest is based on his work Imaginary Club\, which was awarded the Paris Photo/Aperture Foundation NY Photo book Prize in 2014. Sieber currently lives in Düsseldorf. \n\nMariko Takeuch\nA photography critic and an Associate Professor of Kyoto University of Art and Design\, Mariko Takeuchi was guest curator for the “Spotlight on Japan” of Paris Photo in 2008. She received a Fulbright Grant for her research on photography education in the U.S. She has contributed to Ryudai Takano: 1993–1996\, Lieko Shiga’s notebook / Rasen Kaigan\, Osamu James Nakagawa’s GAMA CAVES\, Nihon No Shashinka 101 (101 Japanese photographers)” among many other catalogues\, books\, and magazines. She was responsible for the Japanese edition of the book Intended Consequences: Rwandan Children Born of Rape by Jonathan Torgovnik.
